Wanderers wanderers book as large in scope as the novel it is most commonly compared to, Stephen King’s The Stand, and mirrors the novel in other ways, specifically in its inclusion of an apocalyptic epidemic, its varied cast of characters, and its cross country journey on foot.
However, Wanderers was far more hopeless, 4/5. Wanderers is amazing—huge, current, both broad and intensely personal, blending the contemplative apocalypse of Station Eleven with the compulsive readability of the best thrillers.”—Django Wexler, author of the Shadow Campaigns seriesBrand: Random House Publishing Group.

A dystopian, apocalyptic novel that comfortably occupies a space between horror and science fiction, Wanderers is full of social commentary that digs into everything from global warming to racial.
Wanderers is a powerful book, examining not just the current social and political status of America but also exploring science, the power of technology and the ideas of good versus evil.
An immersive, clever book and one of the best examples of apocalyptic fiction this side of The Stand. Praise “Wanderers is amazing—huge, current, both broad and intensely personal, blending the contemplative apocalypse of Station Eleven with the compulsive readability of the best thrillers.”—Django Wexler, author of the Shadow Campaigns series “A riveting examination of America.”—Scott Sigler, #1 New York Times bestselling author of the Generations Trilogy.
Just walking. Her little sister is the first “Wanderer” of the eponymous book. She doesn’t understand it, but determines to stay with her sister until she can figure out what is going on. So, they walk and walk, picking up more wanderers along the way, and keep doing that for what ends up being the entire book.
CONCLUSION: WANDERERS is a good, long book that I enjoyed. I felt bothered enough by its imperfections to write this review. I hope this helps you decide if this novel will be up your alley or not.

[Wendig's] ability to juggle so many fully realized characters is impressive, but even more so is the astonishing power Wanderers commands in conveying what it would actually feel like if this happened in the America we live in now, complicated by deep ideological divides, disinformation and the constant chatter of social media.
All of these elements work together, often in surprising ways, to. Wanderers shows us the apocalypse unfolding through the eyes of its characters, and all isn’t black or white either.
The first part of the book is pretty extraordinary, as Chuck Wendig put a lot of scientific research into it. We follow CDC teams trying to make sense of what’s happening, and we learn as much as we’re s:.
